Discover the Role
As a Developer Platform Engineer, you will design and build the platforms, tooling, and infrastructure used by engineering teams across the business. You will work closely with software engineers, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to improve the entire developer lifecycle, from local development and CI/CD through to deployment and production operations. Your focus will be on reducing developer friction, improving reliability, and building scalable self-service solutions that allow engineering teams to move quickly without compromising security or performance.
This is a highly technical role with the opportunity to have a major impact on engineering productivity across a global organization.

Discover the Requirements

• Strong Software Engineering, Developer Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps experience within highly scaled technology environments.

• Previous experience within FAANG or another world-class, large-scale technology company is highly desirable.

• Strong software engineering skills with experience building production-grade internal platforms and developer tooling.

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

• Strong experience with CI/CD systems, build pipelines, deployment tooling, and release automation.

• Experience designing self-service platforms and tooling used by large engineering organisations.

• Strong understanding of developer experience and the challenges involved in improving engineering productivity at scale.

• Experience working with observability, reliability, security, and production infrastructure.

• Ability to work across multiple engineering teams and solve complex infrastructure and platform problems.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across highly technical teams.
