Discover the Role
As a Factory Manager, you will lead and manage the end-to-end operations of the production facility. You will ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality fabrication of exhibition stands, event structures, and bespoke fit-outs. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, operational efficiency, health and safety, and continuous improvement across all factory functions.
Discover the Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all factory departments, including carpentry, metalwork, painting, CNC, finishing, and logistics.
Develop and implement efficient production schedules based on project deadlines and resource availability.
Ensure all fabrication and fit-out works meet quality standards and client specifications.
Manage cross-functional coordination with design, project management, procurement, and site teams.
Lead daily production meetings and resolve any operational or technical issues that may impact output.
Monitor factory capacity, workforce planning, and equipment utilization to ensure optimal performance.
Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
Maintain control over factory budget, reducing wastage, optimizing material use, and ensuring cost-effective production.
Develop and mentor factory supervisors and skilled workers to foster a high-performance culture.
Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of production metrics and progress.
Continuously assess and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
Discover the Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a production or factory environment.
At least 3 years in a managerial capacity within exhibitions, events, or interior fit out.
Strong understanding of materials, production workflows, and finishing techniques for temporary and permanent event structures.
Proficient in reading CAD drawings and technical specifications.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem solving skills.
Familiarity with ERP or production management systems and MS Office Suite.
Sound knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards.
