We have partnered with a UAE-based leading technology organisation who are in the lead-up to launching a brand-new digital platform that seeks to simplify the consumer shopping experience. Our client's one of the largest additions to the forever-growing tech ecosystem and therefore would like to onboard a Finance Business partner.

*Please note you must have a background in lending to be considered for this role.

Job Description:

- Knowledge and experience in Lending business, accounting, and reporting complied with IFRS

- Responsibility for reviewing commercial performance

- Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting of lending business

- Be able to deal with the banks independently

- Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling

- Identify and measure key success drivers

- Providing finance and business support to commercial, sales and operational staff

- Support decision-making with data and insight

- Responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information

- Calculate monthly work in progress/comment on variance analysis

- Production of the monthly business performance pack

- Work with non-finance managers to drive the budgeting process

- Contributing to ad hoc financial projects as required as part of the overall finance function

Person Specification:

Typical qualities of a successful Finance Business Partner include:

- CIMA / ACCA / ACA/ qualified

- CFA would be an advantage

- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills

- Highly IT literate, comfortable operating and learning new systems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
