We are working with a brand new e-commerce startup whose goal is to be the largest Saudi Arabia retail group. 

My client is looking for a hands-on leader able to design and permanently improve best-in-class logistic operations, you must engage in and upgrade the whole lifecycle of operations from initiation and design, through to deployment, continuously improving throughout. 


- Support operations before they go live and give smooth handover to operations
- Warehouse flexible layout planning, extendable and adaptable for potential needs
- Intralogistics processes conceptual design, building financial models and analysis of alternatives, and optimal solution research
- Warehouse blueprint design, expected efficiency definition
- Development of functional and technical specifications, working processes description and project-related materials
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of operations from initiation and design, through deployment, and continuous improvements
- Leading the process development and engineering team
- Working with and management of multiple stakeholders from various departments (logistics teams, IT, finance, marketing, etc)
- Maintain operations once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
- Build efficient one-window service for operations to ensure a sustainable response 
- Build financial models and run analytics
- Conduct selected in-depth market research
- Establish a continuous improvement process for established logistic solutions and good knowledge of LEAN methods
- Analysis of technical requirements and evaluation of equipment/solutions for the fulfillment centre automation
- Analyze and proof of the efficiency of implemented solutions and processes
- Organize training and implementation processes for designed solutions


- 5+ yrs of work experience in established companies with high level of logistic services and/or top mgmt. consulting in logistic operations
- Min. BSc degree in engineering, logistics, production planning or a related field but preferably MSc
- Experienced manager of process development team (in warehousing as preference)
- Wide experience of operations design and improvements: from few seconds single workplace operation up to 1000+ employees conveyor line process
- Broad knowledge of manual and automated logistic facilities and goods processing methods
- Strong problem solving, structuring and execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very proactive/ hands on with strong ownership mentality to take on tasks and provide solutions
- Natural curiosity to details, data-driven and pragmatic
- Knowledge of MTP methods of process efficiency definition
- Good understanding of LEAN tools and methods of operational improvements
- Experience in an automated warehouse is essential

Your experience should include design not only in manual processes, but also within transportation, conveying, sorting, packaging systems and robots.
