I am working with a very successful ICT Enterprise Distributer, who are at the forefront of the MENA market today. My client is the partner of choice for global technology majors and system integrators. They have a large presence in KSA and for this reason, they are looking to bring on board a Sales Lead to focus on their Infrastructure Business Unit based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The BU Sales Lead role reports to the Business Unit Director and owns the target for the Infrastructure Business Unit solutions in KSA. This role is hands-on solution sales and a hunters mentality is needed to achieve assigned territory targets. The key focus is going to be on incremental/new business for each of the technology vendors for the KSA market. The role will also be responsible for managing and engaging the selected channel resources in the country and defining practical and result oriented GTM activities to generate leads.
This role will also engage with local partner networks and key current/potential customers to grow the infrastructure business unit profitability for the KSA territory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of stellar sales performance in the past. It is a must that the Sales Lead has relevant business and technical contacts and existing relationships in the following areas:
- Data Storage solutions for block, file services and cloud object storage
- Converged Infrastructure for private/hybrid cloud virtualization and business applications
- Enterprise Linux and Kubernetes Cluster Management Platform solutions
- Pre-sales & new business experience
I am looking for someone who has a strong pre-sales background and has moved into a hunter position, this isn’t a must, but it is a bonus if you have this career path. Sales achievements for the last 3 years will be discussed at the interview stage.
