Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the banking sector.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT development, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall project lifecycle, including scope, timeline, budget, and resources

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables

  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and risk management plans

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide project status updates to stakeholders

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to project sponsors and stakeholders

  • Manage project budgets and track project expenses against budget

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in the banking industry

  • PMP or other project management certification is preferred

  • Experience managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

  • Knowledge of banking systems and technologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
