Job description

This is a chance to define the product strategy for a platform aiming to turn millions of young learners into digital creators.

The business is a Series A edtech venture backed by a well-known family office and built in partnership with an established games studio. Its model sits at the intersection of education, gaming and creator community, helping teenagers move from learning, to making, to contributing, and eventually into real creative careers.

The platform is starting in the Middle East, but the ambition is global.

They’re now looking for a VP of Product to join the CEO in what is effectively a founder-level product seat, with real ownership of the product thesis, roadmap and the systems that will take the platform from thousands of users to millions.

The role

You’ll own the overall product direction, deciding how the education, gaming and community layers work together and where the business should focus at each stage of growth.

A big part of the role will be designing the loops that turn passive learners into active creators, and then into long-term contributors to the wider ecosystem.

You’ll also lead the AI-native product strategy. This isn’t about adding a few AI features onto an existing product. The expectation is that AI, LLMs and agentic workflows are built into the platform from the ground up.

You’ll work closely with teams across New York, Abu Dhabi and Texas, partnering with Engineering, Design, Curriculum and Community while building out the wider product function over time.

You’ll also own the metrics that matter, from activation and retention through to contribution, credentialing and the commercial model behind the platform.

What we're looking for

  • 10–15 years' experience in product management, with strong ownership of consumer-facing products at scale.

  • Experience building AI-native products using LLMs, generative AI or agentic workflows.

  • Strong product experience in creator platforms, gaming, community, youth edtech or adjacent consumer products.

  • A strong understanding of product-led growth, engagement, retention and ecosystem dynamics.

  • Commercially minded, with experience thinking about revenue models, unit economics and product strategy together.

  • Comfortable operating in a Series A environment where pace is high and there isn’t a large team around you.

  • Based in New York and able to work from the Midtown office 1–2 days per week.

Experience with platforms such as Roblox, UEFN, Fortnite Creative, Minecraft, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Duolingo or Khan Academy would be especially relevant.

Experience working with teenage audiences, creator ecosystems, credentialing, learning outcomes, MENA markets or zero-to-one products would also be a strong fit.
