Role Summary:

As an IT Architect in the Product IT division, you will be responsible for defining the system landscape for Software Licensing and Entitlement Management. Collaborating with a global team of architects, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, you will drive architectural decisions and provide guidance to IT teams. Your primary focus will be designing the future of the Software Selling and Licensing system landscape, ensuring innovation, technical feasibility, sustainability, and cost-effective implementation. You will also consult with IT and Business Unit management on architecture topics, guide other architects and experts, and contribute to detailed component specifications and designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to design the future Software Selling and Licensing system landscape

  • Apply architecture principles and patterns to ensure long-term sustainability, technical feasibility, and agile delivery

  • Consult with IT and Business Unit management on architecture topics and provide guidance

  • Guide other architects, subject matter experts, and external partners by leveraging your methodical thinking and ability to address complex questions

  • Develop detailed component specifications and create implementation designs

  • Effectively communicate ideas, express your vision, and present solutions to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT architect (preferably in Software Licensing and Entitlement Management)

  • Proven track record in Cloud Native Software Development, Microservices, or DevOps

  • Experience with Software Selling and/or License Management systems is a plus

  • Strong understanding of software design/architecture patterns, particularly cloud-native applications, cloud integration patterns, and microservices

  • Familiarity with backend integration technologies and patterns, including event-driven architecture

  • Certifications demonstrating competency in working with a Cloud Provider (AWS preferred) are advantageous

  • Ability to adaptively communicate with engineers, architects, and management

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a willingness to embrace new ideas, technologies, and methodologies

  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
