Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly skilled Marketing Director to help promote their offerings and identify what consumers really want. A successful hire will be someone who is confident in providing guidance to our client's marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the plans to those involved and building awareness and positioning for the brand.

You will also be working closely with their sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help maximize profits and market share. The ideal candidate should have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding.

​Responsibilities:

  • Leading and growing the marketing department

  • Evaluating and developing the marketing strategy and marketing plan

  • Developing and managing promotion/ advertising/ marketing campaigns

  • Researching competitors and demand for my client's products and services

  • Identifying short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations

  • Understanding and developing budgets and finance, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections

  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team

  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing

  • Building brand awareness and positioning

  • Supporting sales and lead generation efforts


    Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years experience in marketing and running a marketing team.

  • Proven marketing campaign experience.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
