Job description

​Our client is a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding their market presence in the GCC region. The candidate should have a strong track record of taking technology solutions to market, establishing exclusive relationships, and excelling in value proposition and establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive the adoption of cybersecurity solutions in the GCC region, targeting both government and commercial sectors

  • Cultivate and maintain exclusive relationships with key partners and clients, with a strong emphasis on the government sector

  • Lead the RFP and tender process, collaborating with local partners and ensuring a high win rate in competitive bidding situation

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with government entities, leveraging a good understanding of government processes and requirements

  • Provide services such as solution architecture, 1st and 2nd level support, and contribute to the overall growth of the business

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development within the cybersecurity sector, with a focus on the GCC region

  • Demonstrated success in selling technology solutions, particularly in the government sector, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles (6-9 months)

  • Experience working with system integrators, with a deep understanding of different invoicing models for diverse clients

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, clients, and partners
