About Our Client

Our client is a market-leading Financial Services organisation that is building out its own innovation hub and developing groundbreaking products!They are based in Abu Dhabi and are working on the Middle East's most revolutionary projects in the financial space using AI/ML!They are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has worked in the financial industry, specifically on AI projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud and services

• Automate deployment and provisioning processes, including CI/CD for web apps, IaC pipelines, container images, and GitOps flows with Helm/Argo

• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters and the observability stack

• Define and maintain SLOs for inference endpoints, implement blue-green and canary deployment strategies

• Optimize cost and capacity by tuning GPU/CPU fleets and balancing spot vs. reserved instance strategies

• Improve developer experience through golden paths, self-service portals, and internal SDK/CLI tooling for non-engineering teams

• Implement security as code by automating policies, SBOMs, and secrets rotation

• Administer and optimize cloud platforms, focusing on cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi, Terraform, and CloudFormation.

• Establish security, compliance, and governance standards for cloud environments.

• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, enforce security best practices, and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Experience with platform and infrastructure security (firewalls, load balancers)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud/ DevOps/ Infrastructure

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders
