We've partnered with a leading bank in Saudi who're building out a brand new Venture Studio from scratch who are now hiring their first ever Head of Engineering/Technical Director.

The company and the role:

This bank have the unwavering ambition to be the leading startup incubator/accelerator within the entire Middle East with a specific focus in the Fintech space.

In short, they're partnering with truly world-class founders and early stage businesses to help them build and scale some of the leading Fintech products that the world has to offer.

They're now looking for a Senior Software Engineering hire that will be responsible for taking products from 0-1 from a technical standpoint. This person will work directly with founders to help them prototype, ideate and develop their products until they're ready to hire their own dedicated engineering team (which this person will likely manage on a day-to-day basis).

This venture studio are based in Riyadh and we need someone who has a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and is comfortable working with very early stage businesses.

Ideal experience:

• 7+ years' commercial experience in a Software Engineering (or equivalent) position.

• 1+ years' commercial experience with managing/mentoring a small team (ideally 3 people or more).

• Strong commercial experience with a modern technology stack and a comfort working across Back End, Front End, Mobile and Cloud/Infrastructure/DevOps.

• Experience working within at least one startup environment (or in a digital agency, consultancy or rival venture studio).
