Job description

​Given my client's exciting and progressive growth plans, they are looking for an exceptional Partner Success Team Leader to join their global business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Partner Success, and working with their partners, their internal sales, onboarding and product teams, you will be accountable for driving commercial growth through managing and developing a team of Partner Success Managers who are responsible for increasing revenue through effectively communicating my client's value proposition to their partners.

Key Accountabilities:

Line Management & Team Development

  • Accountable for leading a team of 10 Partner Success Managers, creating a Partner-centric environment to enable commercial growth

  • Provide consultative coaching to the team by call listening, analysing performance and running workshops

  • Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reviews and build out development plans and being accountable for the progression for each team member

  • Help run team meetings in collaboration with the Head of to ensure clear communication of goals and updates

  • Become a key stakeholder in the interview process for new PSM hires, running interviews and helping to manage the process

  • Where required, create long-lasting relationships and value with our Partners by going on meetings and acting as an escalation point for team members

Commercial Growth

  • Through the effective management of the PSM team, help my client achieve its goals of monetising and retaining more Partners

  • Actively collaborate on and drive strategic initiatives with the senior leadership teams to drive growth and position my client as a market leader

  • Meet team key performance indicators around payment activation and utilisation, marketplace listings and retention

  • Use and analyse data to identify gaps and opportunities within my client's existing Partner base, and make recommendations and action as required

Internal Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with our product, finance, support and other commercial teams to align on goals and facilitate initiatives to help achieve my clients's objectives

  • Closely work with product to ensure the effective release of new features to our Partner base whilst also collating and providing feedback to aid future product development and roadmaps

Skills, experience & qualifications required

  • Strong and credible experience in managing commercial teams, ideally in a software/SaaS business

  • A mentoring and development mindset - someone who thrives off educating and training team members

  • Track record of achieving commercial targets inn fast paced environments through effective leadership

  • Experience and evidence of using and analysing data to improve business outcomes and team and individual performance

  • Able to embrace feedback with a positive attitude

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the ability to effectively influence upwards

  • Happy to roll sleeves up and assist the team when required (team player)

  • Self-starter and proactive approach

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
