I am working with one of the biggest e-commerce platforms in the Middle East, which is looking to add a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to its team. The successful candidate will work with a team of developers, designers, and analysts to write well-documented, scalable and extensible code. 

Responsibilities:

- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs

- Testing and evaluating new programs

- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications

- Writing and implementing efficient code

- Determining operational practicality

- Developing quality assurance procedures

- Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics

- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

Skills & Requirements:

- 4+ years experience in Ruby/Dockers/AWS/Rails/Elixir

- 3+ years experience in building and maintaining web applications

- 2+ years of JavaScript experience

- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies

- Working on a large-scale e-commerce/logistics software

- 2+ years of JavaScript experience
