Job description
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to join a UAE-based technology highly backed tech unicorn embarked on a mission to build the world’s first ultra platform & ecosystem, that will disrupt the consumer technology space by rethinking the boundaries of a digital ecosystem.
The platform will provide seamless connectivity between consumers and businesses, enabling users to effortlessly access home, e-commerce, and fintech services in one place.
Reporting to the VP of financial product, the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, testing, and launching new consumer finance products, while overseeing the progress of existing products, and studying market trends to ensure that budget and profitability targets are met.
We are looking for someone with an extensive background in financial services/consumer banking/fintech with an in-depth understanding of shariah compliance and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Build a roadmap & budget for assigned products in line with business plans and budgeting guidelines
Own the P&L for assigned products and continuously track success metrics to ensure budget and profitability targets are met
Design new or enhance existing products and determine regulatory and technology requirements to ensure that the new products are launched smoothly
Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. IT, Risk , compliance) to implement new and enhanced products from post-approval to launch phase
Continuously monitor product profitability, manage product portfolio and retire solutions as appropriate in order to avoid proliferation
Create policies, processes & guidelines for assigned products policies for sign off; collaborate with Business Analysts for process mapping
To be considered for this role you MUST have experience working under shariah compliance regulations.
