I’m partnered with one of the largest banks in the MENA region which is seeking a talented VP of Digital Product focused on Business Banking.

Business banking digital products consist of web, mobile and tablet channels for customer onboarding and servicing for business banking and SME customers under the retail banking and wealth management business segment of the bank’s group.

The main purpose of this unit is to co-lead the delivery of digital products along with Business Owners, Tribe Leads and Global Product Owners across the business segments of retail banking, wealth management, business banking and corporate banking segments for the bank.

You will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile teams for Business Banking Tribes. You will strive to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering digital products backlog in line with the Business Banking strategy.

- You will be a thought leader and subject matter expert on delivery using Agile and will constantly look to improve the delivery process whilst ensuring the business needs are met.
- Lead the multiple Agile delivery squads (teams) delivering large and complex initiatives across multiple business lines.
- Liaise directly with both Business Tribe Leads and Product Owners to ensure their requirements are being satisfied and will act as a point of escalation for any technical issues.
- In situations requiring a hybrid Agile approach, you will use good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach suitable for delivering the project goals.
- You will also be responsible for identifying and developing individuals within the agreed training budget.
- You will provide input into Business cases and provide accountability for ensuring all necessary IT/risk/audit governance is met.
- Assume the technical ownership of digital products and will be responsible for your performance, resilience and operational support as and when needed.


- Experience owning and implementing customer-facing channels; Online, Mobile and Tablet for Business Banking Customers
- Banking IT expertise (min. five years)
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, in particular, SCRUM
- Subject Matter Expertise – Deep understanding of the Business Banking business, especially customer-facing digital products, and a solid IT delivery background
- Require 5 + years of IT delivery experience using Agile methodologies.
