We are currently looking for a Data Engineering Lead for a leading company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We are looking for a hands-on Architect as well as someone who can lead a team and work in a customer-facing environment with technical and business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

- Designing and maintaining cloud, on-premises, and hybrid data platform architectures
- Be able to identify, design and implement full data warehouse and Big Data solutions
- You will be designing and maintaining optimal data pipeline architectures for batch and real-time processing
- You must have experience as a Team lead for at least 5 years

Hands-on Experience with the following:

- Strong hands-on experience in implementing modern data platform solutions
- Extensive experience with core Azure data cloud services: Data Factory, SQL DW, Azure Data Lake, Analysis Services, Databricks, Cosmos DB
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including some of the following: SQL DW, SQL Database, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and Snowflake
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: SSIS, Data Factory, Talend, Informatica, etc.

*Consulting background is preferred.
