Our client is looking for a Head of Compliance & MLRO to play a leading role in developing, establishing & building a compliance programme from scratch. As the first ever Compliance hire, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, digital savy and fintech obsessed Head of Compliance to make immediate impact!

Ideal experience:

• 5+ years of experience working in a similar Head of Compliance or Compliance Officer role

• Knowledge of the cryptocurrency and digital assets industry

• Strong relationship with regulators in Europe, UAE and Singapore

• Working collaboratively with commercial teams, C-Suite, Product and Tech teams

• Great knowledge of KYC, AML and CTF

Day to day:

• Working closely with C-Suite to implement the compliance programme aligning to regulatory changes and requirements

• Developing robust onboarding processes for clients

• Act as the internal point of contact, collaboarating on compliance initiatives including education and training

• Maintaining strong relationship and communication with regulators

• Establish transaction monitoring systems to prevent suspicious activities
