Reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in advising on legal matters related to their clients operations within the rapidly evolving crypto fintech space!

They are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Legal counsel to join them within the Fintech division of their business. You'll be focusing on all things emerging finance including crypto, commodities, blockchain and more. This is a remote position based in the UK / Europe.

What will you be doing?

• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, terms of service, and policies ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.

• Provide legal guidance and support on a broad range of issues including regulatory compliance, contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance in the context of crypto and fintech operations.

• Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts

• Conduct legal research and stay abreast of evolving regulations and industry trends affecting the crypto fintech landscape.

• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies specific to the crypto fintech industry.

What are they looking for?

• 3-5 years legal experience from an in-house legal team or corporate background *specifically within the crypto fintech sector

• Good understanding of both stock and equity

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal considerations within the crypto fintech sector.

• Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, providing legal advice, and managing regulatory compliance.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
