​Job Summary:

• As a scrum master, your role is to be the guiding force for the company’s squad, ensuring they stay on track and remove any obstacles in their way to success.

Your Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and take ownership of 'How' meetings for the squad.

• Grasp the product's key business objectives and strategy, and effectively convey them to the team.

• Keep a close eye on team metrics, such as inputs, outputs, and outcomes, and continually monitor their progress.

• Assist in the decision-making process for selecting stories in each sprint, considering the team's velocity and story complexity.

• Support team members in choosing the stories they work on.

• Manage the team's progress by facilitating agile events and helping them overcome any roadblocks.

• If needed, escalate impediments to the Agile coach for guidance and support.

• Work with the solution owner and the team to adjust and prioritize work within a sprint.

• Shield the team from distractions and interruptions from external sources.

• Maintain burn-down charts and other documentation to keep track of progress in each sprint.

• Understand the technology roadmap and help squad members align their work with it, when applicable.

• Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review/retrospective sessions with the rest of the team.

• Offer visibility into progress by maintaining burndown charts and conducting velocity analysis.
