​Discovered are working with a leading Cyber Security consultancy, who is growing its team and are looking for an Emirati National to join the team as Cyber Threat Hunter.

• The Threat Hunter's primary focus is to use data analysis, threat intelligence, and advanced security technologies to detect, disrupt, and eliminate threat actors from client networks

• They work directly with the Security Operations Center to investigate intrusions, identify malicious activity and potential insider threats, and respond to incidents

• The Threat Hunter explores and integrates new cybersecurity testing tools and processes, contributes to the development of security control configurations, and performs hands-on cybersecurity testing of critical environments, systems, and applications

• They analyze vulnerabilities, improve processes for efficient operations, investigate events of interest, and work with stakeholders to identify security incidents, determine their root cause, and provide remediation recommendations

• The Threat Hunter proactively searches for potential malicious activity and incidents using advanced threat network and host-based tools, escalate incidents to the Security Incident Response team, and provide support in the detection, response, mitigation, and reporting of cyber threats

• They maintain a strong understanding of advanced threats, continuous vulnerability assessment, response, and mitigation strategies used in Cybersecurity operations, perform risk analysis, attack simulation, application-level automated, and manual Ethical Hacking, and develop proof-of-concept exploits
