​Our client, a leading firm in the banking industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic team.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, software engineers and product managers. Your role will involve developing and delivering exceptional products and services. Using a diverse range of technologies, including Python, R, Conda, AWS, H2O and Spark, you will unlock valuable insights hidden within vast volumes of numerical and textual data. From design and training to evaluation, validation and implementation, you will spearhead the development of machine learning models.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills by effectively communicating complex concepts and aligning them with tangible business goals. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in data science, or Master's Degree in data science.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in machine learning development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 4 years of experience in data analytics/data science.

• Minimum of 4 years' experience building AI/ML models using Python, Scala, or R.

• At least 3 years' experience with SQL.

• Prior experience in the banking industry is preferred.
