My client, an Abu Dhabi-based fintech, is looking to recruit a Data Scientist/AI Scientist specialising in NLP and large language models to join their Data team and work with their cutting-edge AI technology.

​Responsibilities:

• Developing, training and evaluating state-of-the-art transformer models on NVIDIA GPUs

• Implementing model parallelism and data parallelism techniques to optimise model performance

• Working with Python, SQL and Linux systems to develop robust data solutions

• Leveraging knowledge graphs to create innovative Al applications

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in the finance domain

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI or a related field from a reputable university

• Strong expertise in Natural Language Processing and large language models

• Experience in the following: Deepspeed, Transformer, Pretrain, Finetune, API, Streaming APIs, GPT, Reinforcement Learning, Encoder, Decoder

• Proficiency in Python, SQL and Linux systems

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU training and evaluation of transformer models

• Familiarity with model parallelism and data parallelism techniques

• Strong understanding of knowledge graphs

• Fintech experience
