Overview

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, industry-leading AI organisation based in Abu Dhabi that builds advanced artificial intelligence tools and platforms used by governments and enterprises worldwide. The company focuses on developing practical, real-world AI solutions across multiple industries, delivering high-impact products at scale.

They are now looking to hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a world-class technical team and play a key role in designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning systems.

This is an onsite role in Abu Dhabi, offering an exceptional tax-free compensation package and full relocation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models for real-world, production environments.

• Work across the full ML lifecycle, from data preparation and model training to deployment and monitoring.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate ML models into applications and platforms.

• Build and optimize NLP and/or large-scale AI models for performance, accuracy, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain ML pipelines, ensuring robustness and scalability.

• Research and implement state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and best practices.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of AI systems.

• Ensure solutions meet high standards of security, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.

• Solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.

• Experience building and deploying models into production environments.

• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).

• Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines.

• Strong understanding of NLP, LLMs, or large-scale AI systems.

• Familiarity with cloud environments, containers, and modern MLOps practices.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, highly technical environments.

• Experience working with large language models or generative AI systems.

• Exposure to distributed systems and high-performance computing.

• Experience working in regulated or high-impact industries.

• Prior experience contributing to system or model architecture decisions.
