Discover the Role

• As Lead AI Data Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of the organisation’s AI-ready data architecture while managing a team of Data Architects responsible for building scalable and secure data platforms.

• You will work closely with AI Engineering, Data Science, and platform teams to ensure data environments are optimised for analytics and machine learning at scale.

AI Data Architecture

• Define and evolve the organisation’s AI data architecture roadmap.

• Design scalable data platforms supporting AI and advanced analytics.

• Architect reliable data pipelines and modern data platform capabilities.

• Establish best practices for data modelling, governance, and metadata management.

AI Platform Enablement

• Partner with Data Science and AI Engineering teams to enable ML-ready data environments.

• Support modern distributed data architectures and cloud-based platforms.

• Ensure data platforms meet security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

• Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement.

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Architects.

• Partner with senior stakeholders across technology and the business.

• Provide architectural guidance for enterprise AI and data initiatives.

Discover the Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms.

• Strong experience with modern data technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Delta Lake, or BigQuery

• Experience building data platforms that support machine learning and advanced analytics.

• Strong understanding of data governance, modelling, and enterprise data architecture.

• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern cloud data platforms.

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership experience.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
