In this position you will focus on integrating existing AI tools and services while enhancing data processing workflows. You will work closely with product teams to lay the technical foundation for advanced AI capabilities and ensure all solutions are scalable and secure. As you grow into the leadership aspect of the role you will shape the long term strategy and act as a technical mentor for other engineers.

Discover the responsibilities

• Integrate and orchestrate various third party and in house AI tools such as LLMs and vector databases.

• Design scalable AI powered services that work seamlessly with existing systems.

• Optimise data pipelines for automated processing and improved insights generation.

• Build and maintain AI enabled backend services using Python and AWS

• Work with frontend teams to integrate AI features into React applications

• Monitor the performance and accuracy of AI systems in production environments

• Help define AI standards and best practices for the engineering roadmap

Discover the requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or AI focused roles.

• Strong proficiency in Python with experience building production backend systems.

• Hands on experience with AI integration including ML APIs and LLMs.

• Proven experience using AWS services such as EC2 and SageMaker.

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservice architectures.

• Previous experience collaborating with frontend teams using React.

• Knowledge of data processing pipelines and performance optimisation.

• Ability to balance rapid experimentation with production reliability.
