Our client, a digital, mobile-first business is currently looking to add to a cross-functional team and are, therefore, looking to bring on board a team of experienced Developers and Designers.

With this, we're seeking a Backend Developer who is experienced with Java and has a good knowledge of its ecosystems to writes and maintain code for entire systems (back-end for mobile applications, payment gateways, etc.) and can build integrations between in-house and third-party systems.

A solid understanding of OOP and the concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful APIs are essential for this role.

Do you have at least 5 years of commercial software development experience, along with commercial experience (building with rather than observing) these tools?

- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Data Systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Scripting with JavaScript and SQL
- Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift
- Build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant

Based in Dubai, this position is offering between 22-30k AED p/month (dependant on experience), along with an annual bonus, and a host of other benefits.
