We are seeking a Digital Product Designer to transform our client's bank's vision for its digital products into intuitive, user-friendly, and immersive interfaces. In this role, you will harness customer insights, conduct research, optimize user journeys, and gather feedback from various stakeholders, both internal and external.
User-Centric Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customer-centric digital experiences across various platforms, including apps, websites, and ATMs.
UX and Visual Design: Act as both a UX and visual designer, producing elegant, user-centered designs that align with customer needs and business requirements.
Design Strategy: Lead journey design, experience mapping, inclusive design, service design, UI design, and prototyping phases to enhance the overall user experience.
Visual Design Leadership: Take charge of on-screen design work, generating compelling design wireframes, prototypes, and design libraries that translate the bank's business vision onto the screen.
Tool Utilization: Utilize cutting-edge design tools to create visually appealing and functional digital interfaces.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
UI/UX Excellence: Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring products and services adhere to top-tier UI/UX design principles.
Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in UX models and processes such as Design Thinking and Mental Models, along with strong UI design skills.
User Research: Collaborate closely with the insights team to conduct user research through focus groups, interviews, guided testing, and surveys.
Design Vision: Define the visual direction of features, explaining the rationale behind design choices to benefit users.
Navigation and Interaction: Determine optimal layouts and interaction methods based on continuous feedback, iterations, and testing.
Design Documentation: Create comprehensive design guidelines, sitemaps, user interface architectures, wireframes, workflow diagrams, interactive mockups, and prototypes.
Personas and Scenarios: Develop user personas and usage scenarios to inform design decisions.
Data-Driven Approach: Leverage insights from reports, market studies, and customer behavior metrics to shape the user experience strategy.
Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Architects, Product Owners, and agile squads to align design sprints with context and roadmaps.
Stay Informed: Research interaction design and stay updated on the latest technology trends, sharing findings with the team.
Storyboarding: Create storyboards and conceptualize user flows, collaborating with the broader business and design team.
HCI Integration: Account for and monitor the human-computer interaction (HCI) element in the design process.
Visual Aesthetics: Be responsible for the overall visual design aesthetic, including layouts, components, and design library items.
Deep Design Understanding: Possess an in-depth understanding of app and website design concepts, including contingency designs, reverse opt-in, dark and light modes, color theory, golden paths, and edge cases.
