​We’re currently partnered with a leading technology consultancy who are scaling their tech team. They offer a diverse work environment that provide services in the UAE impacting millions of lives. We're currently helping them search for a Senior Java Engineer to join their ever-growing team.

Responsibilities:

•Design, implement and unit test brand new software as well as debug and improve existing programs

•Build automated tests and enable continuous delivery of platform components

•Familiar with the Dev Ops

•Working with data structures and algorithms.

•Work with QA & PO’s and other software teams to build, test, and roll out

•Work in an agile environment

•Collaborate with developers to review code & develop new software features and brainstorm new, more effective technologies.

•Train junior developers on the latest coding standards and techniques

Qualifications & skills:

•Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

•6+ years of full life cycle development experience in implementing J2EE based software programs

•Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented best practices

•Solid experience in J2EE, and Spring framework

•Experience with Kafka

•Experience with AWS

•Experience with XML, HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON and related web service standards

•Strong proficiency in designing, implementing, and deploying secure, scalable, high-performance, and highly available cloud services

•Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
