This opportunity is to join one of the largest digital transformation consultancies in the Middle East. This business provides a full 360 service across transformation, analytics and security for some of the largest companies in the region.

For this position as a Senior Virtualization Engineer, we are seeking a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical capacity, with experience working for an IT Services or Systems

Integration organisation. You should also have experience of rack and device installations, be able to manage implementation tasks and lead the technical implementation for complex technical projects.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of involvement within medium to large-scale project-driven implementations, have technical deployment understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, steps, and tools, the experience of mentoring, training and teaching operational support personnel and a mind-set and desire to confidently hand over into operational support with pride.

As for technical requirements, you'll need to be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of installation and configuration in one or more of the following core technologies:

- VMware ESXi
- VMware vCenter/PSC
- vRealize Suite
- Server Hardware

Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate experience with:

- Integration with eco-systems such as monitoring, identity management, log management, storage, networking, data center management tools
- Security hardening of ESXi/vSphere
- Security hardening of Windows OS
- Server hardware e.g. Cisco UCS, Dell
- Scripting: PowerShell, bash, python

Certification Requirements:

- VMware VCP-DCV or VCIX-DCV
- Microsoft: MCSA or RedHat RHCSA
- Cisco CCNA (ideally)
