We are looking for a Tech Ops Engineer to join a growing Blockchain Crypto Exchange based in Dubai. In this role, you will be expected to investigate and resolve critical technical issues to ensure platform uptime. You will work closely with the Ops and Dev teams to ensure all parts of the system function as expected.

Responsibilities

- Part of a 24x7 operations team responsible for service availability, operations execution and management
- Monitor system availability, latency, data integrity, capacity and overall health
- Effectively escalate service outages and drive incident management process
- Track transactions throughout the trade lifecycle by reviewing system logs
- Channel product/feature-related queries to the product development teams
- Post-execution for trade processing, settlement, reconciliation and reporting functions

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above, major in Computer Science, Math or Finance
- Knowledge of SQL, BI and reporting tools
- Preferably, basic knowledge of numerical analysis and scripting in Python, Matlab or R
- Preferably past experience, internship or personal project within the Financial sector
- Basic understanding of Blockchain and DeFi
- An interest in the Cryto Currency, Blockchain industry
